The B787 has a restoration (RST) MPD 21-071-00 card which drives the Heat Exchangers (HX) Off-wing for Cleaning every 3 years. You have to be mindful when removing the HX, if you remove the R/H side you cannot Power ON the Aircraft (A/C). If your A/C is not under Global Fleet Care (ex-name Gold Care), there is a superb shop in Upland, Ca, called Qualified Technologies which can clean the HX elements and they can also issue a DAR repair if they leak. The HX system has Qty 2 PECS (Power Electronics Cooling System) pumps and Qty 4 Pkg Motor Controllers (PMC) which are located in the Left and Righthand (L&R/H) wheel-wells.
